Jobber vs Housecall Pro: prices, plans and features (2026)
Prices checked on vendors' own pages:
Short answer
On price alone, Jobber is cheaper for a one-person business: $29 vs $59 a month on annual billing. Housecall Pro's plans include more users (5 on Essentials, 8 on Max), so for a growing team the gap narrows, and it lists features like job costing and online booking on its entry plan. If you're solo, start with Jobber's trial; if you have a crew, price both with your real headcount.
Our read of published prices and plan features, plus a first look at the Jobber trial below. Hands-on notes for the other apps are being added; see how we work.
Jobber Core is $29/mo billed annually (1 user). Housecall Pro Basic is $59/mo billed annually, or $79 month to month.

Hands-on
From our Jobber trial (Oct 29, 2026)
We started a Jobber free trial under our review mailbox, as a review account (not a real lawn business), and built one sample quote and one recurring job with obviously sample data. This is what we saw on day 1; it's a first look, not a full review.
Signup asked for a work email and password. The phone number on the next step was optional, and no card was requested.
Picking Lawn Care as the main service pre-loaded 10 lawn and landscape services (with descriptions, no prices).
Client records came with lawn-specific property fields: Lawn Size, Locked Gate and Dog.
Quote lines can be marked optional; the client preview shows them as Not Included and leaves them out of the total.
Converting the quote to a recurring weekly job defaulted to 26 visits over 6 months, billed per visit at the end of each month.
A quote with two line items at sample prices we typed: a $45 mow, and a $150 yard clean-up marked optional. (tap to enlarge)Client preview of the same quote: the optional line shows as Not Included and the total counts only the mow. (tap to enlarge)
Screenshots are our own, from the trial account. Prices in them are sample numbers we typed, not Jobber's prices. We have not yet run hands-on trials of the other app on this page.
Feature lists are the highlights each vendor shows on its pricing page. A feature not listed here may still exist on another page or plan; check with the vendor.
