How the math works

  1. Total cleaning time = ((sq ft ÷ 1,000 × minutes per 1,000) + bathrooms × minutes per bathroom + extras) × the clean-type factor.
  2. Time on site = total time ÷ number of cleaners. Labor cost = total time in hours × labor rate.
  3. Cost = labor + supplies and travel + overhead. Price = cost ÷ (1 − margin), minus any recurring discount.

The starting values and the deep-clean and move-out multipliers are placeholders, not industry rates. Use your own timings: clock a few real cleans and plug them in.
